The End of the Semester
Oh dear, December has arrived unconsciously . Time does fly! I dont know what to say because there isnt much to say beside that fact that I really enjoy all the moments being in the UK this year. Not that I never enjoyed the life here, but I really learned a lot this year. Being in the new house with new people, thinking about my future, working at Hallward library, etc... All of these become the makeup of this semester and all are indeed wonderful. Um... half of final year just passed by... I know... it has gone so quickly! Last week was the busy-est week ever because I needa write my PS and my essay, prepare for UNICEF fashion show, going to Lincoln, having Christmas meal with J-KIDS, etc... That's what I called a Life.
I havent got involved any organizing work since becoming a university student. What a shame! I am glad I did get involved in the fashion show. Same as last year, free condoms for everyone! Hope it's useful, safe sex! It was probably the only and the last event as an organizer that I ever got involved during my whole degree! The show wasnt as good as last year's, but its objective has always been raising enough money for the kids around the world. The reason that I like about UNICEF is that it's about fund-raising. You never know how much money that you can raise until the end. It's uncertain and we are trying so hard to get people to support the society! I dont know if we have achieved our objectives (raising enough money), but I know I have tried my best. Seeing the worry-ness and tears of our president reminded me the meaning of commitment. Whenever you are committed, it is attached to your heart, your soul, and perhaps your physical body!
After the show, we celebrated Kenn’s b-day. Don’t know if she knew Day was gonna make a cake for her, but surely it was a good cake because of the Kit-Kats! I hope the calendar would be useful. Those were terrific moments in the past 2 years. The trip to Lincoln was great. It was my first time travelling with 20 people. The dinner recalled my meal in Prague with the same group of people. Christmas meal – It was brilliant. J-KIDS feat. Kristy and Karen. It was a chance for them to get to know each other or maybe – they (all of them) to know more about Kristy and Karen – because the dinner was rewinding the type over again. The food were 5-star standard! The people were 10-star! LOL~ It's always great having dinner at "home"! With the spirit of Christmas and the fun will go on, Iris is leaving tomorrow. Oh god, I am gonna miss this girl ... Floor 2 will be very empty.
I am feeding myself with chocolate lately , I have to stop, I do not want to turn into another Kennis ! My "lightest" day "happened" last week, and now I am gaining weight... Although it has not gone back to the weight before summer, I have to stop my unhealthy diet! I have stopped doing any exercise since I am back to the UK... will try to do some jogging during the vacation! My fridge is almost empty! I will finish the rest of the food very soon and will not buy any food except milk and veggies for a period of time, I want my healthy diet back!
